Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Greedy, a mobile app that turns music reels and videos into tracklists and Tops, and of the services around it: this website, our app links and our @app_greedy account on Instagram. By using Greedy you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.

What Greedy is

Greedy recognizes the music in reels, videos and images you import and lets you build ranked lists of it (Tops), share them and open them in music services. Recognition is automatic, so it can be wrong or incomplete; you can review and correct what we find.

Your account

• You sign in with Apple, Google or email. Keep access to that sign-in safe: you are responsible for what happens in your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it.
• You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings, Delete account.

Acceptable use

• Do not abuse our import bots and service accounts: do not flood them with messages or links, automate requests to them, or use them to send spam.
• Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the app, this website or our servers.
• Only verify social accounts that you own or control. Do not impersonate anyone or claim someone else's account or reels.
• Respect the terms of the platforms you import from and the rights of the people who made the content.
• Do not use Greedy for anything unlawful, and do not give Tops titles that are hateful, harassing or infringe someone else's rights.

Your content

• What you import and create in Greedy, including your Tops and their titles, stays yours. You allow us to store, process and display it as needed to run the service, including on a Top's public page and in Discover once the Top is published.
• To recognize music we read the public data of the posts you share with us (caption, author handle, cover and video frames). That content belongs to its creators; we do not claim any rights in it.

Third-party services

Greedy works with services we do not control. Your use of them is governed by their own terms:

• Instagram, for links you share, messages to @app_greedy and account verification: Instagram Terms of Use.
• TikTok, for links you share and for connecting your TikTok account through TikTok's Login Kit: TikTok Terms of Service.
• YouTube: Greedy uses YouTube API Services, and by using Greedy's YouTube features you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.
• Music catalogs and services (Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, Discogs, MusicBrainz), which we use to match tracks and where you can open Tops and playlists.

A feature that depends on one of these services may change or stop working if that service changes or withdraws access.

No warranty

Greedy is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that recognition is accurate or complete, that the app is always available or free of errors, or that a given link or platform will keep working. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Greedy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow to be limited.

Termination

You can stop using Greedy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account, remove a verification or block access to our import bots if it breaks these terms or harms other people or the service. We may also change or discontinue features.

Changes

We will update these terms as Greedy changes and adjust the date at the top. If you keep using Greedy after a change, the updated terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using the app and delete your account.
